The sound is produced by attaching various types of sticks to multiple speaker drivers and hitting specific objects or parts of them. This is an abstract work that treats the speakers as players of sound rather than transmitters of sound, and the minimum number of speakers is between eight and sixteen, depending on the space, to create a sense of spatial acoustics. The listener can move between the speakers and the sum of the sounds will vary accordingly.
