This advertisement is from Kookmin newspaper, emphasising that it is a newspaper for families.

At first part of this video, we can hear bright music, which express the son cucumber’s hope. When son cucumber misunderstood about his identity, we can feel his frustration with Bach’s toccata and fugue. After this scene, when the mother cucumber was finding her son with calmer music(Schubert’s arpeggione sonata in a minor) but depressing we can feel mother cucumber’s worries.

In conclusion, I can say these musics which are non-diegetic made each scene’s moods be more emphasised (Empathetic Effect).
