I have been assigned the task of recording important sounds from small sites that are significant to me. Therefore, I will be posting the 30-second audio recordings that I make, along with reflective writing about each recording over the course of 7 days.”
Day 1 – “Boiling Pot“
I recorded the boiling pot while cooking food. Living alone here, cooking food has become significant because there is no one to cook for me. At first, the pot’s lid was almost closed, so I could not hear the boiling sound well. Therefore, I opened the lid more, and I could hear the boiling sound better. In that moment, I realized that the position or status of the target is crucial for obtaining the sound I desire. Consequently, for the recordings to be made in the upcoming days, I will need to experiment with various object positions to achieve the desired sound results.
